Jim has taught both elementary and college level physical education for the past 25+ years. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Montana. He has a single subject K-12 Physical Education credential. He has a lifetime community college credential for Physical Education. He also has his Masters of Arts Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Sacramento State University. Jim has competed in athletics on the collegiate and professional level. Jim has a passion for physical education and fitness and after providing hundreds of teachers with staff development in PE, he came to realize that a different approach was needed for the classroom teachers. He created and developed the PE 4 Kids Now concept and project. He truly sees the vision of a healthier community through the use of PE 4 Kids Now.
Jill has a Learning Handicapped Credential and has worked as a Resource Specialist with the Napa Valley Unified School District for the past 25+ years. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from Sonoma State University. She worked as an elementary classroom teacher for 9 years. She helped develop and write the Elementary physical education curriculum for the Napa Valley Unified School District. She has experience teaching fitness classes along with dance/aerobics. She holds a lifetime Community College Physical Education credential. Jill has always been very active and especially enjoys running. She has a heart for children and realizes that exercise tremendously affects the learning state of children. Her organizational skills along with her teaching experience and passion for a healthier community make her an important member of the PE 4 Kids Now board.
Tom is the former President and Chief Executive Officer with Bank of Napa. He is a lifelong resident of Napa who began his career at Napa Valley Bank in 1986, and has been Bank of Napa's President and CEO since 2007. He was head of Retail Banking for The Mechanics Bank in Richmond, CA and served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Bank of Marin. Tom received his A.A. degree from Napa Valley College, his B.A. from San Diego State University, and his M.B.A. from Saint Mary's College in Moraga. Tom is a member of Napa's Noon Rotary Club and serves on the board of the Napa Valley College Foundation, Queen of the Valley Medical Foundation, and the Napa High School Athletic Hall of Fame Foundation. Tom brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the PE 4 Kids Now board.
Bruce is one of the co owners of Napa Valley Physical Therapy Center. For more than 30 years, Bruce has given generously to the athletic programs within the Napa Valley. He provides information to the players and coaches, works on athletes on the field and opens his office to athletes for rehabilitation. McCall has also been instrumental in building the team that includes local physicians, EMTs and student volunteers that insures the best possible care for the athletes of the Napa Valley. Bruce earned his Bachelor of Science degree at UC Santa Barbara. His post graduate work was done at UC San Francisco Medical School. Bruce gained experience as a trainer, volunteering in the training room of the San Francisco 49ers. He is a licensed physical therapist, former certified athletic trainer. Bruce is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and is presently an associate member of the National Athletic Trainers Association. Bruce adds a valuable dimension to the PE 4 Kids Now board of directors.
Pat Wolfe is a former teacher of Kindergarten through 12th grade, county office administrator, and adjunct university professor. Over the past 25 years, as an educational consultant, she has conducted workshops for thousands of administrators, teachers, boards of education and parents in schools and districts throughout the United States and in over 50 countries internationally. Her major area of expertise is the application of brain research to educational practice. She is an award-winning author and has appeared on numerous videotape series, satellite broadcasts, radio shows, and television programs. Dr. Wolfe has a keen interest in how exercise impacts the brain and learning. Her expertise has been very influential in the development of PE 4 Kids Now. Pat is a very valuable board member for this organization.
